EVENT GALLERY
This is not a lecture, or a conference, or a simple visit to an anatomy exhibition (although the exhibition itself is amazing!). It's an immersive learning experience where you'll see, discuss and understand exactly how horses are designed to eat, digest and thrive.
Every part of the day is focused on helping you make better feeding decisions for your own horse or pony, as well as consolidate your understanding of good nutrition.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I don't have my own horse and don't need feed advice, but I'd love to learn more about digestive anatomy and practical nutrition - is this day for me?
Yes, absolutely. You don't have to have your own horse or need help with their diet to benefit from this immersive learning experience. It is also suitable for those who don't currently own their own horse but who are interested in anatomy, digestive physiology, practical nutrition and of course, you get to ask all your questions to Clare throughout the day.
I'd like to check my horse's diet with Clare - will I be able to do this on the day?
Yes, you will be able to ask Clare questions about your horse's diet, in the Q&A session in the afternoon. We'd recommend taking a note with you of exactly what they are fed (including weights of forage and all bucket feed) because Clare will be using a couple of participant's diets as case studies to talk through.
I'm a student and not sure if this is relevant for me?
If you are studying an equine course and have an interest in feeding and nutrition e.g. ENFAR Feed Adviser, nutrition, podiatry, farriery, groom, bodywork/therapy, massage, vet nursing, riding coaching then you will find the anatomy exhibition incredibly useful, and the applied nutrition sessions invaluable.
Where is the venue please?
The venue is Horses Inside Out HQ near Melton Mowbray, and the address is: Wavendon Grange, Lawn Lane, Old Dalby, Leics. LE14 3LW
I'd like to attend but the venue is miles away - I'd need to stay overnight so what are the options?

Do you have a cancellation policy?
We understand that circumstances outside of your control can arise. We charge 25% for cancellations for any reason up to two weeks in advance and 100% thereafter unless we can fill the place from a waiting list, in which case we will then refund 75%. Non Transferable.
